Wuhan University’s 2016 Summer School Offers Programs on BeiDou

The 2016 geoinformatics summer school for international postgraduates of the Wuhan University held the opening ceremony on the 20th of June. 70 students from 11 countries including Germany, France, and Russia participated in the program, who will study together and exchange thoughts in the following two weeks.

The curriculum this year contains three main parts: BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, Geographic Information Service, technologies in Nighttime Light Remote Sensing. The purpose of this program is to cultivate professionals, improving China’s international influences and promote national economic development, international exchanges and scientific cooperation.
