Accurate Positioning Service of BDS in Any Corner of the World Leads to More Valuable Applications

The 12th China Satellite Navigation Conference kicked off in Nanchang, Jiangxi on May 26. With a theme of “Space-time Data Make a Better Future,” the conference, focusing on the frontier areas of the industry, showcased cutting-edge technologies and service applications.

In front of the booth of Sixents Technology, a professional high-precision positioning service provider , the chip module, integrated navigation devices, high-precision positioning receivers, sharing motorcycles, UAVs, and a series of high-precision service products were exhibited in cooperation with a number of hardware equipment providers such as u-blox, Guangzhou Asensing Technology, Didi Bike and Jumpstar. Covering the areas of intelligent driving, sharing travel, precision agriculture, surveying and mapping and other industries, the products fully demonstrate the cooperation conception of “openness and mutual benefit” of BDS.

It is reported that Sixents Technology has, based on BDS, established 2200 + CORS stations nationwide in a short time in 2020. Meanwhile, it also independently developed the Yunge calculating platform on the basis of virtual reference station and the technology and principle of precise point positioning to calculate various space errors. With the help of its independently-owned terminal RTK algorithm and terminal integrated navigation algorithm, it invented the all-in-one “network-cloud-terminal” solution to provide a large number of users with diversified multi-satellite and multi-frequency high-precision positioning services.

To the end of the mature development of the high-precision positioning service industry, joint efforts of all links in software and hardware are required. In the future, the positioning and navigation technologies represented by BDS will join hands with the upstream and downstream industries of more related industries to generate a cluster effect to inject new impetus to the industries of intelligent driving and Internet of Things and better serve end users by creating more valuable applications.
