Yuanwang-5 Crew Ready for Tracking and Controlling Mission of BeiDou Navigation Satellite Launching

Yuanwang-class tracking ship Yuanwang-5 by China Satellite Maritime Tracking and Control Department (CSMTC) is sailing at its full speed and is expected to arrive at the scheduled waters recently. The crew is ready for tracking and controlling mission of the launching of BeiDou Navigation Satellite.

On this mission, Yuanwang-5 will carry out the tracking and controlling mission of BeiDou Navigation Satellite and carrier rocket Long March-7 successively. According to Li Xiaoxiong, the vice-Captain of Yuanwang-5, the ship will as planned first arrive at the tracking and controlling spot of BeiDou Navigation Satellite.
