Leap Second Adjustment Notice of BeiDou Navigation Satellite System

Distinguished BeiDou users,

According to the leap second reminder by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) BeiDou Navigation Satellite System , the adjustment of one leap second will be conducted at 07:59:59 on July 1st 2015. The adjustment at the users ends of the BeiDou will be implemented automatically. The representation of the adjustment will be that after the clock time reached 07:59:59, the figures of 07:59:60 will be shown before it goes to 08:00:00.

Hereby we would like to kindly remind users who employ precise time to check the timing terminal in time to confirm whether it has correctly executed the adjustment. A 24 hour helpline has been launched to support users. The number is 010-66308555.
