BeiDou Holds Second Frequency Coordination Meeting with Thuraya Operator

The second frequency coordination meeting was held from August 28^th to 30^th 2015 in Dalian between the operator of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System , China National Administration of GNSS and Applications (CNAGA), and the operator of United Arab Emirates’ satellite communication system Thuraya.

Both sides focused and negotiated over the extension of frequency compatibility on frequency band L. The participants also reached an agreement on calculation results of interferences and assessment method of compatibility, which has laid a good foundation for future practical cooperation between the two systems.
